Hey there!
What’s good? I’m Robin, a college junior recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia (side note: so weird to write them I’m a junior!!! where has the time gone?)
This blog isn’t all about my condition, it’s also about fashion and how I keep comfortable and cute while also dealing with all the hellah sucky symptoms that come along with fibromyalgia. It’s also some advice from my experience about how to navigate life post diagnosis and during treatment, as well as a way to give people without a chronic illness some insight into what it’s like to live with chronic pain, fatigue, and other issues.
A little more about me: I’m a proud cat mother, I’m an avid reader and writer, and I’m currently studying music in college (and yes, I know that means I probably have no hope of finding a job). My family and friends are incredibly important to me, and I can’t thank them enough for all their love, support, and understanding. Also: I was a marching band kid in high school, was nominated for homecoming court (I think that was as a joke), and I used to drive a bug.
I hope you enjoy what you find on this site, and please feel free to say hello!
Why I Started Chronically Cute
I found when I got my diagnosis, as much information I could find about fibromyalgia and chronic illness, not a lot of sites talked about my main concerns. I also noticed that I’m really young to be diagnosed with this syndrome, so I wanted to make a place to share my story and tips and experience for people like me who are younger and dealing with serious stuff like this.
